Annuity Selling Systems

Good annuity selling systems base themselves in comphrehending how people feel, knowing the very motives that spurred them to invest in annuities in the first place. Selling annuity requires a deep intuition in psychology. A deep understanding in how your annuity prospects feel as well as their incentives gives you an advantage in suiting their needs and maintaining their trust.

Many people, especially those soon facing retirement, are attracted to the consistent payments annuities offer. Stressing the importance of financial security is a crucial foundation of successful annuity selling systems, as this is often one of the primary reasons people choose to invest in annuities in the first place.

Others are encouraged by the tax free investments annuities make. There are few foundations you can lay for the future that remain tax free, which makes annuities ideal. Annuity prospects can be encouraged by the idea of investing their money in their future with the knowledge that all of it remains in the future, instead of a good percentage of it being eaten up by taxes.

Understanding how to sell annuities also involves knowing where to reach your audience. Since many of your prospects are seniors, your clientèle can be very different when it comes to the media and technology they access. Many seniors could really relate to Presidential candidate John McCain when he admitted to never personally using email himself. Other seniors find the Internet a wonderful networking instrument and a great way to connect to friends and family.

Knowing how to sell annuities requires an understanding of diversity. Your core market cannot be tapped by fliers alone; likewise purely Internet driven campaigns will ignore half your clientèle. Effective marketing campaigns require mailers as well as educational emails. It requires an online presence as well as a personable approach where you shake hands and get to know your clients.

Your clientèle are not all alike. Each annuity sales attempt requires a different approach as your clients are each motivated by a variety of factors. Likewise, a varied marketing strategy is crucial to accessing the broad technological capabilities of your client. Good annuity sales comes down to an understanding of people themselves. Know your clients, and you’ll know how best to serve them in the annuities market.

Need Help Finding The Right Chicago Malpractice Attorney?

Finding the right Chicago medical malpractice attorney can be a task. If you feel as if your doctor or surgeon made errors in your treatment or surgery, you will only have one chance to prove this in court. The lawyer that you select to represent you can either prove that you should be compensated for the malpractice case, or lose the case and earn zero for your restitution. Selecting the right lawyer makes all the difference in how successful your lawsuit will be.

There are many medical malpractice attorneys that are referred to as ambulance chasers. They are looking to make a quick dollar off of a sub-par settlement in your case. Beware of these types of lawyers. You want to find a Chicago medical malpractice attorney that can handle your case and make sure that you are awarded a just amount regardless of how long the case may take. Some lawyers will jump at the first settlement offer to save themselves time and the hassle of preparation for a courtroom showdown. You need a lawyer that will guide you through the entire process and let you decide whether or not you want to settle.

Malpractice suits can be very long and drawn out. The attorneys that work for the insurance firm that represents the doctor or surgeon that you are suing will use these stalling tactics to encourage you to accept a low offer or to give up. A professional and experienced Chicago medical malpractice attorney will not give in to these tactics and will be able to successfully represent you for the duration of the lawsuit. There is no reason that you should have to accept a settlement amount that you believe is unfair, especially if it is the first offer. A good lawyer will be able to tell you whether or not an offer is sensible and if he or she believes that you could possibly get more.

Malpractice cases are extremely sensitive, especially if you or a loved one has to suffer permanent damage from negligence. You want to have a lawyer that will be sympathetic to you and your case and provide you with the level of attention that your case warrants. Make sure that you hire a lawyer that can offer you with a high level of service and that is willing to stay with your case for the long haul to make sure that you are satisfied with the results.

A Budget-Friendly Tip for Event Planners

Being a manager here in sunny LA, I am often asked to organize some of the parties for our small companies. In the past, dinner and drinks was an easy standby, but the bad economy has put a damper on that sort of fun and budget constraints prohibit that kind of spending on an event. An event planner friend of mine suggested that for a really fun Los Angeles corporate event, we could try indoor karting at a facility in nearby Thousand Oaks: fun, slightly competitive, slightly team-oriented, silly, and relatively inexpensive. It was an excellent suggestion.

When it comes to organizing a corporate event Los Angeles doesn’t offer that many convenient and inexpensive options, unless senior management’s idea of a good time is the playground at McDonald’s. Kart racing was both fun and budget-oriented. Planning the quarterly office party there made me a hero/superstar to a lot of management, as they all had a great time trying to one-up each other on the raceway in the same way they try to one-up each other every day in the office.

The venue helped plan the party, including arranging for food delivery and providing a comfortable private room for us to relax in and laugh about the morning races before hitting the track again in the afternoon. They customized a package for a party, the cost of which was less than half what it would have cost us to throw the usual dinner-bar party that ushered in new fiscal quarters in better economic times. Management seemed to have so much fun that I think karting could become a semi-annual tradition – if the company doesn’t form a competitive team to race against other companies. When you can make it so people have more fun for less, you really look like a hero, which is exactly how I looked thanks to the people at the indoor go-kart track.

Los Angeles corporate event planning used to be much easier when the company budget allowed for what seem now like outrageous expenses on office parties. While I will need another good idea for the next quarterly party – racing every quarter might be too much of a good thing – I am glad to have found this venue, which makes my job a whole lot easier. I now know that when it comes to planning an affordable corporate event, Los Angeles isn’t completely devoid of options.

Finding Local Job Searches

You need a job. It’s a problem everyone faces from time to time. There’s nothing to be ashamed about, especially if you are actively looking. Typically, a person will change careers as many as 5 or 6 times in their lifetime, and it’s understandable when there are “down” periods between jobs, waiting for the next opportunity to develop.

But any local job search can be a frustrating labyrinth, especially in this economy. It’s hard to know if you are heading down the right corridor, or if some secret passage will present itself if you know just what lever to pull. Often, it feels like you’ve been down some halls before, like you’ve redoubled back on yourself and can’t possibly find a way out. It’s in these dark corridors that we can lose our resolve.

The difficulty is that any local job search can be hindered by negative thinking. You need to see potentials in every possibility you explore because you really don’t know where the right opportunity lies. This can be difficult when we feel that we’ve lost our way, when it seems that every path or avenue is just leading us further down the road to nowhere.

The trick is to allow yourself a little bitterness without getting completely down. It’s okay to feel frustrated. Looking for a job usually feels like a pointless endeavor right up until the moment you’re hired. A successful job landing is worth a thousand emailed resumes.

One way to be positive is to remember that technology is on your side. Job search websites make finding a job easier, as employment search engines can literally connect millions of potential jobs, giving you the top listings of the ones most relevant to you.

It’s also important to remember that job search websites can also lead you to jobs that haven’t been advertised well. Sites like Monster may be an effective place for employers to advertise, but the ads cost money and don’t include work opportunities from employers who didn’t register on the site. A job search engine can connect you to all job opportunities related to your field, regardless of whether or not the employer bothered to use Monster.

Keep a positive mentality and use the technological tools available to you. The right job may be just a keyword search away.

Shifting Gears Seamlessly

A friend of mine just bought a new sports car that I had the pleasure of driving recently, and I have to say, I’m really kind of hooked. While the cliché is that Porsche drivers represent a certain insecure portion of the male population, I can proudly say that I’m perfectly secure and I still want one of these things. It’s a small convertible that handles hairpin turns at astonishing speed. During my recent visit to Los Angeles, I was able to take the car out for a late night drive: what a good time.

The first thing you notice about the car is that it’s a manual and manual transmissions really gives you the ability to control your destiny. You can accelerate just about as fast as you think your spine can handle as long as you keep the gears low. Get ready, though, just seconds after hitting the pedal it will be time to shift once and then shift again so you don’t blow up the engine at the red line. I find the manual transmission to be extremely responsive, giving the driver a real feel for the road that you really just don’t find in any but the absolute best automatic transmissions.

The other thing I noticed and really grew to appreciate was the efficacy of the truly enormous brakes. 0-60 in less than 5 seconds is one thing; 60-0 in about 2 seconds is another thing entirely.

I am now looking for my own sports car and have decided that whatever car I do end up getting, it will have to have a well-build manual transmission that allows the engine to really get going and make some noise before needing to be shifted. I’ll also want it to have the same enormous brakes and, yeah, a convertible wouldn’t be so bad.

My only concern is that clutches for sports car transmissions tend to be quite a bit more expensive than normal ones, but I suppose that’s not something I’ll be worrying about next time I’m racing down Pacific at 3 in the morning in my new car.

Chicago Cuts Back on Pedestrian Related Accidents

There’s a new plan in Chicago to cut down on the number of pedestrian related accidents at dangerous intersections, according to a recent article in the Chicago Sun Times. Chicago Police officers will go undercover as pedestrians at some of these high accident areas and issue tickets to any drivers who fail to yield.

Anyone who has been the victim of a pedestrian accident should contact an accident lawyer. Chicago has been the location of several settlements lately that have benefited the victims with the financial sustenance they need to rebuild their lives.

Fines can range anywhere from $50 to $500, depending on how serious the violation is. The crackdown takes place at the following locations: 119th and Stewart, Division and Hoyne; Nagle and Peterson; 86th and Commercial, and 103rd and South Prairie. Not only have these intersections already suffered multiple accidents, but many are also near schools, shopping areas and the areas frequented by senior citizens. Some of these locations have been the scenes of accidents involving pedestrians. Many have no stoplights or stop signs.

Dangerous intersections become all the more dangerous as the weather gets warmer and more and more people choose to walk. On top of more pedestrians being on the streets, drivers also tend to be more careless as the weather warms and tend to drive faster. Crackdowns can serve as pointed reminders for drivers to slow down and pay attention to the road, especially when it comes to pedestrians.

Pedestrians always have the right of way, even in the absence of a cross walk. If you’ve been a pedestrian who has been involved in a car accident, contact an accident lawyer. Chicago has numerous options, many which can discuss your case and the possibilities of success. Usually, there’s no fee unless you win, paying the lawyer only a portion of the settlement.

We deserve safe streets, but if the unspeakable should happen, you need the financial resources in order to restore your peace of mind as well as afford any potential disability. Our streets should be safe for pedestrians. Litigation not only gets you what you deserve, it provides you the resources to adapt and reclaim your life.

Income Tax Audit

An income tax audit, sales tax audit can be one of your most scariest tax moments. The worse cases can end in a jail cell. Even if you haven’t done anything wrong, there are always possible mistakes that could have been made in the preparation of your last filing. The IRS will go through your records with a fine-toothed comb. If there are discrepancies, they’ll find them. Their job is to review every number.

One of the most important things you can do when facing an income tax audit, sales tax audit is to communicate with a tax lawyer before ever speaking to the IRS. Before you provide the government any tax documents or even have a conversation, speak to a qualified tax lawyer to first consider your options. Most tax audits and criminal investigations by the IRS never go anywhere unless the wrong thing is said. A tax lawyer knows the language of the IRS and will work to protect you.

It’s also very important to consult a tax lawyer as oppose to a tax company. Any communications to a tax company are subject to review by the IRS or a tax court. Conversations that take place between a lawyer and his or her client, however, enjoy the right of attorney-client privilege and retain the right of privacy.

The easiest way to avoid problems with the IRS is to not attract attention that encourages an audit. When filing your tax return, always make sure it looks neat and professional. This avoids raising the eyebrows of the IRS and attracting attention to your return. Make sure the math is correct, and avoid clean numbers like $500 or $200 to qualify expenses. This suggests you might be merely estimating or guessing, which could encourage the IRS to further investigate with an audit.

Also, don’t file early, or at least no earlier than a week The IRS has three years to decide to audit your return. Filing early not only gives them more time; it potentially gives them something to do during the less busy part of the year before April 15. When you file closer to the date, your return is combined with a sea of other returns. In fact, when returns are filed close to the deadline, less than 1 percent ever sees an audit.

Avoid an audit with a neat return filed close to deadline. If an audit becomes a potential reality, however, speak to a qualified tax attorney as soon as possible.

3D Scanning Technology

Few technologies are as useful to engineers looking to bring a part or product to market as 3D scanning. Scanning objects for precise dimensions and specifications makes two aspects of design possible that aren’t really possible without it. First, scanning makes it possible to create a CAD object with which other CAD objects can interact –perfect when you need to design a part that will fit with an existing one. Second, 3d scanning makes it easier than ever to reverse engineer or to build specs from a prototype made by hand. And third, it makes quality inspection virtually thoughtless, since products can be checked for specifications with laser precision.

Engineers of any multi-part machine or object are inevitably familiar with the struggle of having to design parts that interact without a three dimensional CAD drawing to support the design process. Indeed, designing blindly like this is usually an exercise in futility unless the specs of the parts are easily replicable in the CAD environment – anything more complicated than a 2×4 and things start to get fuzzy. By employing 3D scanning technology, engineers can map out the cogs in a 3d environment to play with and design around.

For many inventors, product developers, and engineers, building a part or product for a certain project is often an exercise in “build now, ask questions later.” In other words, hands-on building takes precedence over design because it is the fastest way to get things to market. Yet standardized manufacturing practices don’t really allow for the arbitrary construction of parts on a line, and machines are not yet smart enough to design and create parts on their own with an engineer’s intuition. Once a prototype is built, three dimensional scanning facilitates reverse engineering by implementing specifications into standard models: CAD and other 3D environments that can interact with production machinery to create the perfect widget every time.

Once the specs are completed to satisfaction – and a scanning will reveal any minor design flaws that might inhibit proper functioning – 3d scanning can be used to evaluate finished products for construction flaws. The precision of measurement will ensure that each manufactured part is within a set margin of error from the model – even if that margin of error is 0.

By employing three-dimensional scanning throughout the design, engineering, manufacturing, and QA process, manufacturers have assurances that the product they market is not only up to snuff but also that it is engineered (or reverse engineered, as the case often is) in the most efficient way possible, so that it gets to market faster.
